Steve brings over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry is Vice President / Team Director with ConferenceDirect and resides in Phoenix Arizona. He began his Hospitality career in the Banquet area and quickly moved up in that discipline. Along his career Steve has worked for Royce Hotels, Hilton and finished his Hotel career with Marriott at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn in Scottsdale Arizona. During this time he was awarded the Golden Platter and Gold Key awards for several years along with the Chairman’s Circle.
Steve has been recognized in Event Planning Magazine for unique theme events. He manages sourcing, contract negotiations and comprehensive conference management for his clients. His “Memorable” events make his clients conferences stand out from the others. Steve has provided conference management services for events ranging from 40 people to over 9000 attendees. He has managed conference budgets up to 2.7 Million Dollars. The Phoenix Office has been recognized by ConferenceDirect as the “Conference Management Team of the Year” in 2004, 2005, 2006,2008, 2009, 2011 & 2013.
Steve spends his spare time on the board of various local charities. He has raised over 4 Million dollars for Phoenix Children’s Hospital and managed one of the largest fundraising golf charity events with over 450 golfers for 20 years. He is on the board for Phoenix DEA Charity Golf event. Steve is also a Senior Reviewer for Trip Advisor and is co-creator of an app for site visits. Steve will make sure that each event he manages will be memorable for all of your attendees.
